Our House of Love Tournament featured eighteen couples chosen by our fans.
Our first group was six couples (The Doctor and River Song (Doctor Who), Batman and Catwoman, Fitz and Simmons (Agents of SHIELD), Andy Dwyer and April Ludgate (Parks and Rec), Chuck and Sarah (Chuck), and Gomez and Morticia Addams (The Addams Family)
(Read more about this battle here.) But ultimately, the mysterious and spooky Morticia and Gomez were chosen to enter the finals.
The second group featured Waverly Earp and Nicole Haught, Rose and Ten (Doctor Who), Westley and Buttercup (The Princess Bride), Adrian and Sydney (Bloodline), Wash and Zoe (Firefly/Serenity), and Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet (Pride and Prejudice).
(Read more about the battle for our second finalist here.) Zoe and Wash were the only couple shiny enough for the finals (because they're too dang pretty).
Our third and final group included Buffy and Angel (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Han and Leia (Star Wars), Amy and Rory (Doctor Who), Jim and Pam (The Office), Aragorn and Arwen (Lord of the Rings), and (a surprise couple) Chicha and Pacha (The Emperor’s New Groove).
(Read more about this group's battle here.) Arwen and Aragorn were the only couple deemed worthy to stand up with our other two finalists.
Let the finals begin!
Zoe and Wash, Gomez and Morticia, and Aragorn and Arwen proved to be tough choices for our fans. Some even opted out of voting.
That was definitely a hard one, but Aragorn and Arwen couldn't stand up with our final couples.
Overall, the fans decided that, while Zoe and Wash were great, the Addams were #relationshipgoals
