Our first House of Love round is the most debated in House history! (Read about our last tournament here.)
We started our first group with six couples (The Doctor and River Song (Doctor Who), Batman and Catwoman, Fitz and Simmons (Agents of SHIELD), Andy Dwyer and April Ludgate (Parks and Rec), Chuck and Sarah (Chuck).
We voted in several rounds, each time eliminating one couple, until only two were left.
Poor Chuck and Sarah are our first couple to be eliminated. Maybe it's because of the terrible way they ended the show or just because they need a movie to fix it? Hmm... Either way, Chuck is still freaking out, Devon still thinks this is not awesome, and Sarah may very well kill us all in our sleep (if we're lucky).
Andy Dwyer and April Ludgate (Parks and Rec) were the second couple to be eliminated. But April says, "Whatever. I love games that turn people against each other." And Andy, for some reason, still thinks they have a shot at this.
Despite my subtle hints and very impartial pleas, Batman and Catwoman were next to go...
Fitz and Simmons were the last to go, beginning a heated battle over whether The Doctor and River Song or Morticia and Gomez Addams were the ideal couple.
While the voters on both side were very passionate, only one couple could remain. The creepy and kooky Gomez and Morticia Addams are going to the finals!
